Following on from their 4th place at the 2023 European Championship, the Wales U20 Women’s Lacrosse Team looks forward to competing at the World Championship in Hong Kong this August. The team are currently placed 7th in the world.
The 2024 World Championship in Hong Kong is an exciting opportunity for our U20 team. With Lacrosse being awarded Olympic Sports status, key tournaments such as this World Championship will serve as a pivotal stepping stone towards the 2028 Olympics.
However, the cost to get the team out to Hong Kong is considerable, and we need to raise the funds to cover all essential expenses, including travel, training, accommodation, and kit for both players and staff.
Can you help? We’re actively seeking sponsors to join us in supporting this talented team. Your contribution will not only enable these aspiring athletes to represent Wales at an international level but will also align your brand with a rising force in women's lacrosse whilst fostering the growth of lacrosse in Wales.
If sponsorship is not possible at this time, but you would like to make a donation to help the team on their journey to Hong Kong, please do let us know and we can organise either as a straight donation or through our fund-raising page.
